Cheesy Potato Casserole with Hoosier Hill Farm Three Cheese Powder

Cheesy Potato Casserole
- 1/4 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Three Cheese Powder
- 1/2 cup Hot Water
- 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Minced Yellow Onion
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 1/2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 30 oz Frozen Hashbrowns, thawed
Corn Flake Topping
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
- 3 cups Corn Flakes
For the Casserole:
Set the oven to 350F.
Melt 4 tbsp of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the Hoosier Hill Farm Three Cheese Powder and the hot water. Whisk until fully combined and thick.
In a large bowl, add the cheese sauce, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, minced onion, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and onion powder.
Use a whisk to combine all above ingredients thoroughly until homogenous.
Add the cheddar cheese and fold in with a spatula until equally distributed.
Finally, add in the potatoes. Stir and fold in the potatoes until everything is well mixed into a thick paste.
Transfer the cheesy potato mixture to a 9x13 inch dish and smooth out the top.
For the Topping
Melt 4 tbsp of butter in a microwave safe bowl.
Add 3 cups of cornflakes to a gallon-sized ziplock bag or large bowl.
Add the butter to the cornflakes and toss to make sure the cornflakes are equally coated in the butter.
Sprinkle the cornflake mixture over top of the casserole.
Place in the preheated 350F oven for 40-50 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
